Taking a moment from our regularly scheduled programming to make a heartfelt announcement:

Happy birthday to the life and spirit of Fly Art, Gisella Velasco. Thank you.

The entire experience has been surreal. I remember the exact moment we decided to start this project where you wasted no time making it happen. Here we are, almost exactly a year later, with what I can say with all modesty is a pretty successful endeavour.

Fly Art was born because we were two girls on the internet who had nothing better to do, which is usually the beginning of most things on the internet. The internet is a strange place, but I can’t imagine a life where you aren’t constantly tagging me in strange pictures of corgis.

Now that you’re in Sydney, the internet is literally the only way we can communicate with one another, but I suppose that’s never really bothered us. I’m glad you’ve found a place there, and I am of course excited to annex Fly Art to Sydney or Australia in general, because I hear the people down under are hella nice.

Anyways, before this becomes tl;dr, enjoy the rest of your day! It’s 2 p.m. here in GMT +8, thought I’d leave this here for you to stumble upon when you’re scrolling for pictures of cats or whatever it is you enjoy on your dashboard.

I love you like xo,

Toni.
